Psychographics.

psychographics is the study of personality, values, attitudes, interests, and lifestyles, Some categories of psychographic factors used in market segmentation include:
  • activity, interest, opinion (AIOs)
  • attitudes
  • values
  • behavior 
My magazine is aimed at people with similar interests and opinions who generally live a similar lifestyle therefore having similar psychographics factors such as activities like playing the guitar. 


Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs
In his modal Marlow requires that we fulfill one stage before moving on to the next. 


The love/belonging box is also the social box. 
My target audience would fit in to the safety stage more than the belonging stage as they go against social norms of listening to "pop" music and wearing the "fashionable" clothes. My target audience find safety in their music as most of them feel like they do not belong in this society as they are ridiculed and called socially deviant for not fitting with the social norms and values of society.
